It may have to do with the fact that I watched this movie in the middle of the night, but I very great disagree with the previous review. There was a bit of predictablity to this movie, but it was tranquil very sweet and carried a substantial message. It speaks the truth that unbiased because you have faith and follow God things will not always be easy, but in the midst of hardship there is comfort and a chance to beget a inequity. I found it to be uplifting and enjoyed it. I even recommended it to others.
I read the original this film is based on years ago and I’ve never forgotten it. The movie stayed good to the novel’s themes and is a fabulous, uplifting epic that refutes the concept that poor things never happen to Christians. But it also shows how God can carry us through when tragedy happens and even exhaust our lives as an example and an encouragement to others. Very inspiring and memorable, and a movie I wouldn’t be ashamed to recommend to family and friends of any age.
