WHO CARES? When a Christmas special is this top-notch, those things tumble by the wayside. I remember watching this as a kid. I truly wish they made specials like this in this century. So powerful tinsel and Santa (both magnificent), but SO puny substance…
This is a stout, heartfelt account about a child finding the most well-known person and relationship any of us can fetch…Jesus.
I am very joyful with this DVD, and with the Amazon’s service. I bought this movie because I looked for this in local stores or rent with no succes, But although I live in Costa Rica Amazon did possible that I can to view again this aesthetic history (that it has not been possible to search for on TV for 20 years), at only 3 shipping weeks and before christmas. The history contains a glowing scenes and a vital and clear education for the family, remembering the loyal sense of Christmas.

This video is not a sugary “warm-fuzzy”. Instead, it deals with the reality of life, which is sometimes harsh. Life is not perfect, yet there is strength to be found in the perfect fancy of Jesus. I recommend it to parents who want their children to relish the proper reason for CHRISTmas.
This is a Dazzling example of what Christmas is ALL ABOUT and not being too preachy. This is the tale about Aaron, the Tiny Drummer Boy, who hates all people because his family was murdered by a group of Desert Thieves. Aaron is kidnapped by Ben Harmed, the greedy and twisted, self proclaimed “Kin of the Desert Showmen”. (played superbly by Hosse’ Ferrer) and his bubling assistant, Ollie. The memoir is told by Greer Garason, with a gargantuan air of dignanty. I shout every time I view this account and there is well-behaved reason why (not tears of sadness, but tears of joy over the words of the African King about the Christ Child, because he is SO good!) This anecdote was created by the Stout Romeo Muller, who is the FINEST children’s writer who EVER lived! You can’t go execrable with a yarn writen by Romeo Muller. This one, in fact was his most celebrated epic that he ever wrote for Rankin/Bass Productions (his most popular he EVER wrote was NOEL, which is also on video.) But I would HIGHLY recomend this film to anyone and everyone. It’s VERY luscious and you and your family will like it.
