This movie was broad to open with, but they wanted to release a racier R-Rated version to compete with Road Gallop and American Pie! They succeeded, and actually the extra R-rated footage makes total sense!

The unusual 3 shrimp footage isnt as raunchy as “Roadtrip” but it’s a positive plus! There wasn’t more you could add to the film to develop it better, it was already a classic college film!
Definitely a great movie, Saving Silverman, brings to the hide exactly what the title implies: the myth of two buddies who in an anguish to hook up their friend (and third member of the group) with a fresh girlfriend extinguish up introducing him to the deplorable girl. Now they must try and undo what they themselves helped residence up. Along the device, they secure into all sorts of effort resulting in a enormous comedy!

Jason Biggs, Jack Dark, Amanda Peet and Amanda Detmer (both of whom are ABSOLUTELY Beautiful!!!), and the rest of the cast, have outdone themselves with their performances, which are exceptional to say the least. All the actors, without exceptions, give it their 100% and it really shows (the chemistry is Fantastic)!
On the negative side, the Neil Diamond element, with the singer himself appearing in the film, was a terrible choice; not that racy and not that comical.
Saving Silverman is simple enough, nevertheless, it is without a doubt guaranteed to provide more than impartial a few laughs.
Strongly recommended for an evening’s entertainment along with Road Lag, Aged School, the Girl Next Door and of course (!!!) the American Pie trilogy.
