This movie is not a tall movie, but it’s one of those “period pieces” that takes you befriend to what was chilly, and in style during the mid to unhurried 50s. When movies like this were released, they were released to create on the most unique fad. Like I said, it’s not a substantial movie. Other similar movies of the time produced by Alan Freed are better, but if you’re a fan of early rock and roll, you must peep it. Oh, and the dancing by Kay Wheeler – it jumpy me!
The best thing about this DVD is hands down, Kay Wheeler. Her astonishing dance at the climax of the film is worth the imprint of admission alone. And where else are you gonna examine the gargantuan Johnny Carroll accomplish “Wild Wild Women”?
