This is (also) a review of the REMIX VERSIONS. I won’t go into the awesomeness of Cowboy Bebop other than to say that it is the best anime series ever, I’d even call it one of the best television shows ever!

While it has been universally eminent on various postings about the remix versions that the sound is significantly better than the new sessions, there are multiple varying reviews on the Recount QUALITY. Some say there is no incompatibility at all, some say it’s a bit better, some say it’s a lot better, all say they have “checked” both versions. Well, I took it a step further. I watched both versions side by side on an Avid Nitris Professional video editing system with high definition high resolution (HDHR) monitors and here is the DEFINITIVE Reply. There is a dissimilarity, they lightened it and did a very diminutive color correction. Basically, the feeble versions were a bit gloomy and some of the detail went unnoticed while the remix versions are lighter and there is more visible detail and color. In terms of viewing expeirience this means that a majority of the scenes watch noticibly (if marginally) better. There are clear scenes, however, where the lightness works against it. Some of the more noirish scenes peek a bit bleedy. Overall I would say that there is a dissimilarity in video quality and that the contrast is mostly an improvement. But, even to the die hard fan the inequity is negligible.
If you don’t bear the originals, if they’re scratched, if you’re a ample fan, if you have an awesome theatre system with beneficial surround, or if you have a crappy dinky tv and can’t explore the detail in the image, Pick Up THE REMIX. If not, while they are wintry, they’re not worth the $30 a pop.
This is the last volume of Cowboy Bebop episodes, and the episodes contained on this volume are extraordinary. On this disc, you examine the crew of the Bebop trying to track down the mastermind of a unique religious cult, Faye and Ed derive links to their pasts that cause them to leave the Bebop, and Spike and Julia are reunited.

The only special feature on this disc is an audio commentary for episode twenty-four (“Hard Luck Woman”), featuring the verbalize actors for Faye Valentine and Ed. Although it’s disappointing that there aren’t more special features on this final disc, at the same time, it’s glorious powerful expected. However, it doesn’t change the fact that I wish a diminutive more exertion had been gone to for special features.
